MINISTER'S MESSAGE

       There are several fraternities with candidates getting near profession.  If your fraternity will have one or more candidates ready for profession within the next six months, please let me know and we'll try to get a multi-fraternity profession planned.  Those have always been among the best ones in the pat and we would like to continue to pursue joint professions.

     We are only a month away from our annual retreat at Serra Retreat Center in Malibu.  There are still a few double rooms available.  Don't miss this opportunity to spend a week-end with Br. Bill Short, OFM.  He is a Bible and Franciscan scholar, much sought-after, and we are lucky to have him.  He is booked a year+ in advance, and we were only able to keep him available for our retreat with the intercession of Fr. Mel at Serra.  So plan to come if you possibly can.

      Please don't forget to keep Margie Rodriguez advised of the dates of events in your fraternity, so that we can share with each other where possible.  Also check for fraternity newsletters which are posted on our website.  That's a great way to stay in touch with one another.
